Short breaks – two night stays available in our self-catering cottages. In April and May (outside the main school holidays) we have two night stays available. Try out our heated outdoor pool, hot tub and tennis court. We also have a games room and play area for children. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.

We are just a 10 minute drive from Bude and Widemouth Bay. Hilton Farm Holidays is a great base to explore North Cornwall and North Devon, or to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery around Bude. Surfing, kayaking and paddle boarding are available locally. The South West coastal path is a short drive away.

We are offering two night stays between 13 April and 25 May in Nook, Pear Tree and Stable cottages for two, Manor cottage for six, Pound cottage for four and our Farmhouse (sleeps 11).

Easter Holidays 2020

Are you looking for a break over the Easter Holidays? We have availability in our cottages in Marhamchurch, a 10 minute drive from Bude and the coast. Our heated outdoor pool opens on 3 April, in time for the main Easter Holidays. We also have a tennis court, hot tub, children’s games area and play room on site.

Our comfortable cottages are a 10 minute drive from the small seaside town of Bude, and about the same from Widemouth Bay. Lots of watersports are available nearby. Visit Tintagel and Boscastle, about 30 minutes away, or explore further afield into North Devon, along the North Cornwall coast to Padstow, or visit the Eden project. Walk the south west coastal path and explore local beaches.

Late availability offer

We have a late availability offer of 10% discount when you book for a week in the following cottages.

Farmhouse from 3 or 4 April – usually £1580, now £1430. Our spacious Farmhouse sleeps 11 or 12 in 5 bedrooms. There is lots of room for a group of family or friends to get together.

Pound cottage from 3 or 4 April for 4 or 5 nights £420 or £520 . Pound is a comfortable, modern cottage, sleeping 4. Also available from 16 April (minimum 3 night stay, £330).

Swallow’s Nest from 3 or 4 April or from 11 April – usually £550, now £500. Swallow’s Nest is a cosy barn conversion for 4.

Primrose from 3 or 4 April – usually £550, now £500. Primrose is a cosy barn conversion for 5.

Cottages for two – try one of our cosy cottages for two. Small but fully -equipped. From £320 for a 4 night stay, to £410 for a week (usually £450).

Winter break offers

Warm up with our winter break offers before 23 March. Choose one of our cottages with a wood burner, or perhaps Parsons which has its own hot tub too!

Enjoy a bracing walk on an empty beach, or maybe a swim or a surf if you are feeling brave. There are lots of beaches to explore around Bude. Walk from Bude to Sandymouth at low tide. Explore Summerleaze and Crooklets in Bude. Perhaps go further to beautiful Bossiney Haven or Trebarwith Strand. Or you might prefer a walk on the coastal path to take in the views on a clear day. Then head back to your cottage and curl up in front of the fire with a good book and a hot chocolate. Or perhaps warm up in a hot tub. Parsons has a private hot tub in the garden. We also have a shared hot tub which is open all year round.

Explore Bude or venture further afield and make the most of the peace and tranquility of Cornwall during the winter months. Perhaps visit the Eden project and try the ice rink (until 23 Feb) or try a visit to Clovelly or Padstow.

Summer holidays in Bude

Well, the summer holidays in Bude 2019 are almost over and the children will soon be back at school. For those who are lucky enough not to be restricted to the school holidays, September is a good month to visit Cornwall. The beaches – and those narrow country lanes – will be quieter. Hopefully we will still get some sunshine and good weather. For September offers please take a look at our late availability page.

We are now taking bookings for Summer 2020. Our cottages are just 10 minutes from Bude and a choice of beaches. We have a heated outdoor pool (Easter holidays-end September) and hot tub on site, as well as a children’s play area and games room. For those wanting a bit more luxury, Parsons cottage (sleeps 7) now has a private hot tub in the garden.

Bude

Bude is a small seaside town on the North Cornish coast, a great spot for a holiday. It is relatively quiet and unspoilt. Even in July and August you can get away from the crowds and find a quiet beach. We are in a peaceful rural location on the edge of a village, but we are just a short drive from Bude and the coast. Access to the A39 is easy so this a good base for exploring North Devon as well as North Cornwall.

Families with small children will enjoy the sandy beaches. There are plenty of rock pools to explore and safe paddling in the sea pool. Bude also has a big indoor pool. There is also a soft play centre with bowling in case the weather is not so good.

If you enjoy watersports there is a lot of choice within the area. Kayaking, canoeing and stand up paddle boarding are available on the canal, the sea pool and nearby Tamar Lakes as well as the sea. There are some good spots for surfing and body boarding along the coast, with Widemouth Bay just a few minutes away.

August late availability

August late availability – one cottage remaining. Stable cottage for two people is available from 17 August for the week. Now £450 (usually £550). Stable is one of our cosy cottages for two, with great views over the countryside. Fully equipped for a self catering stay, the cottage has a double bedroom, shower room and living area with kitchen corner.

Explore local beaches and the seaside town of Bude. Visit Tintagel Castle, Boscastle and Clovelly, or venture further afield to Padstow, the Eden Project or the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Are you looking for a cottage for two in Cornwall? We have three cottages sleeping two on our peaceful rural site near Bude. They are set away from the pool and play area, overlooking the countryside across to the coast. Our cottages for couples are cosy and fully-equipped with everything you need for a self-catering break. They each have a double bedroom, shower room and small open plan living space with kitchen area. Each cottage has outside seating. Dogs are welcome, usually a maximum of two in Pear Tree and Stable and one in the Nook. Find out more on our cottage page.

Summer 2019 school holidays

Our family cottages are almost fully booked for the main Summer 2019 school holidays. We now have just omne week in Swallow’s Nest available.

July 2019

If you are lucky enough not to be restricted to the main English school holidays, we do have some availability earlier in July. Come and explore the local beaches before they get busy!

13 July – last week available in our Cornish Farmhouse. Sleeps up to 11 in 5 bedrooms. The Farmhouse is great for a family holiday or a group of friends, with lots of living space and a private garden. NOW £1950.

29 June-13 July – we have availability in Parsons cottage. Parsons is a spacious, modern cottage with an open plan living space and private garden with hot tub. Parsons sleeps 7 . Popular with families and groups of friends.

29 June- 13 July – last weeks available in Pound cottage. Pound is really popular with families with young children as it is all on one level. Couples who want a bit of extra space also book Pound cottage.

Easter 2019

We have cottages sleeping 2-11 available over the Easter 2019 holidays. Our spacious Cornish Farmhouse (available 8-13 April, £1000, sleeps 11) is ideal for family get togethers or a break with friends. If you are looking for a cottage for a smaller group, we have modern cottages sleeping 4, 6 and 7 or cosy barn conversions available. Pound cottage is ideal for families with young children. It sleeps 4 (plus cot) and has a spacious open plan living area. Pound is available from 20 April (NOW £630 per week). Manor cottage is a spacious modern cottage sleeping 6 – 4 nights from 23 April £550. See more details on our cottages here . We now have some short breaks available.

Explore the area around Bude, voted the UK’s Best Coastal town in 2018. Bude is just 10 minutes’ drive away. There is a choice of beautiful beaches within a 10-20 minute drive. Try walks with breathtaking views along the coastal path or amble along the canal tow path into Bude. Hilton is just a few minutes from the A39, ideally located for exploring North Devon and North Cornwall.

October half term 2018

Are you planning a break over October half term 2018? We have cottages sleeping 2-11 available for short breaks or a week on our rural site near Bude in North Cornwall. We are 10 minutes from the coast so ideal for walks on the beach or the cliffs, watersports or just a relaxing break. There is a hot tub, tennis court, play area and children’s games room on site.
